Kenn "E" was born in Long Island, New
York into a very musical family, the ninth of ten children. He was exposed to a wide variety of music at a very
early age. He sang with the school chorus thru middle school. Then at the age of fourteen he purchased a drum
set with money earned delivering newspapers. He began playing drums with the school band as well as singing
and drumming for bands outside of school.
At age 16 his family moved to "Sunny
Florida" where he finished high school and began working as a carpenter along with singing and drumming. He
studied music and drumming at The Drummers Collective of N.Y.C. and also with some of the music industry's top drummers.
He sang and drummed throughout the southeast with many different
rock, blues and country acts including: R&B acts-James Peterson and the Willie Lomax Blues Review. Country
& Rock Bands: Elston Gunn, featuring Jesse and Noah Bellamy, and the Silver Saddle Band. He also worked as a
substitute drummer for country music stars The Bellamy Brothers. He continues to sing and drum with a blues/rock
combo called Bleu Voodoo and also teaches drums at two local music stores.
Kenn "E" began his Elvis impersonation career after being
told he looked and sang a lot like Elvis. He got his start performing at Grand Openings, Car Shows, County Fairs,
Assisted Living Facilities, Singing Telegrams, Private Parties and Charitable events that soon led to the St. Petersburg Times
newspaper writing a feature article about Kenn which in turn led to even more jobs.
Kenn has been married to his wife Stephanie since 1989. They
are the proud parents of two beautiful girls. They reside in Central Florida in a home they designed and built
with the help of his dad who is a retired electrician and craftsman.
Kenn "E" has performed at Dinner Shows, Night Clubs and Game
Rooms. Also the Florida State Fair, The Tampa Elvis festival and at corporate and private events throughout Florida.
Kenn "E" always creates an enjoyable atmosphere and performs a moving
tribute to one of the worlds most beloved entertainers.
